LaserLipo® forms a transitory pore within the protective membrane of adipocytes.

Stored lipids and fatty material traverse the membrane via the transitory pore entering the interstitial space where the lymphatic system is readily capable of removing the fatty debris.

The Laser Lipo empties the fat cells but does not harm or destroy them. The unwanted free fatty acids move within the interstitial space or lymphatic system. This means that it is necessary for the patient to carry out a limited amount of cardiovascular exercise to burn off the released fat. If this is not done, post treatment, the fat will return to the emptied adipocyte cells.
Once the treatment has been carried out and a minimum of 30 mins. of cardiovascular exercise has been completed, the fat will exit the body via the liver and kidneys as a part of the normal bodily        processes.
